I stumbled onto your site by googling dog nose problems. My dog's nose looks like your dog's nose, but the redness looks a little puffier. If you don't mind me asking, what did your dog's issue turn out to be, and how did you treat it?
ReplyDeleteHI! My dog's nose issue turned out to be some sort of fungus. It was treated by a round of antibiotics and some sort of cream to help with the dry, scabbing corners of his nose. It took about 2 weeks to clear. Whatever you do, don't give in to steroids in the begining! The first vet I went to thought he had a form of lupus, prescribed me steroids and sent me on my way. I got a second opinion and it turned out I didn't need the steroids at all. Do all the tests you can do and get second opinions if you don't feel right. Good luck!
